She is a graduate of the "Victor Babeș" University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Timișoara and was a resident ophthalmologist at the Timișoara Municipal Clinical Hospital. She participated in courses at the University of Würzburg in Germany on an ERASMUS scholarship. She is interested in the latest developments and innovations in contemporary ophthalmic medicine.
